Odyssey of the Kitchen Tile - Day 8 How to Remove Grout Haze!

Still waiting for the grout to cure... tick tock tick tock... We have purchased the new quarter round, the appliances are waiting patiently to move back to their homes, and I have confirmed that I AM NOT VERY PATIENT!
So I tackled the grout haze on the tile today.  I still had that fine glaze that most inexperienced tile layers experience.  I scrubbed and scrubbed but whenever it would dry that chalky haze just reappeared.
So here is the recipe that I discovered that WORKS!  Yes, I know there is a glaze cleaner that works, but I am cheap thrifty remember?  And my car is being inspected so I couldn't get to the store...

How to remove grout haze.
So here it is... the Coastal Star endorsed Grout Haze cleaner...
1/3 cup ammonia, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup ammonia and 6 cups of warm water.

I scrubbed each tile with cheesecloth.
Right side of tile is scrubbed with the cleaner, left side still has haze.  See the difference?
Haze free!

How closely are you looking at my pictures? Can you see the shoe print I left?
I also went back over the tiles with an old towel to dry and buff.
Tomorrow I get to seal the tile and hopefully move my appliances back in!!!!
